Where to Find King Cake in Hattiesburg

With the twelve days of Christmas officially over sundown on January 5, it's time to bust out the King Cake and get ready to let the good times roll! Hattiesburg, Mississippi, may not be on the coast, but we still know how to celebrate Mardi Gras, and that starts with a delicious king cake with the knife IN the box.

Jody's Bakery

Jody's Bakery makes over 150 king cakes daily during Carnival for a reason: they’re really good. This Hattiesburg establishment is turning out locally made king cake that is on par with the greats.

Corner Market

You may ask yourself, “Now, why am I going to the grocery store for my king cake?” Maybe it’s because Corner Market sells Paul’s Pastries king cake. Need we say more? They perfected their king cake recipe in the 1970s and haven’t looked back.

Loblolly Bakery

Newer to the king cake game owner of Loblolly Bakery, Robert St. John, went on a mission last year to find the BEST king cake. After trying hundreds of cakes, he found one he loved and emulated. Now, he surpassed the recipe to create Hattiesburg’s hardest-to-get-your-hands-on king cake.

Triangle Seafood & Po Boys

No, it's not seafood-flavored king cake. It's Randazzo's king cake. New Orleans' finest king cake has made its way to The Burg, but you better get there early, because these go fast!

King Cake Treats

Maybe you aren’t a cake person, but that’s fine. We don’t judge (well, maybe a little.) Good thing these restaurants and bakeries all have Mardi Gras themed items on the menu for you to enjoy.
