If you’re a fan of flipping houses, DIY projects, or have ever dreamed of living in a fixer-upper, you have probably watched an episode (or two) of HGTV’s Home Town.
Over the past five years, America has fallen in love with the charm of small-town Laurel as Ben and Erin Napier help residents and newcomers find their dream home. The love they have for Laurel is evident as they work to revitalize their hometown one house at a time.
What many might not know about the show is that quite a few Hattiesburg stops, including restaurants, shops and homes, appear on the show. The Hub City is only 30 miles away from Laurel and would be a great addition to your Home Town Mississippi tour.
The Lucky Rabbit is open every weekend on Saturday and Sunday and features consigns from local artists, craft vendors, and others who specialize in refurbrishing furniture and odds and ends in a "Pinterest" style. It is a self-proclaimed junk shop that also features boutique clothing, accessories, a t-shirt shop, art, decor, and is full of nostalgia.
The vintage store is famous for its owners Abby and Brandon Thaxton's talent to recreate popular tv show sets for ultimate photo op experiences. Photo ops are located inside The Lucky Rabbit and are always free to the public during regular business hours (Saturdays 9-6 and Sundays 11-5). In recent years, the store has had Stranger Things, The Office, Home Alone, Griswald Family Vacation, and Schitt's Creek photo sets.

You can find Mohawk Steel and Glass Co. located at the Thomley Christmas Tree Farm, which has been growing and harvesting trees for more than 100 years. This is the perfect setting for a date night, fun outing with the kids, work event, or holiday party.

Several Hattiesburg homes appear on the show, too, with a couple of them located in Downtown Hattiesburg's historic district. While you can’t go inside these, visitors CAN enjoy the Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Walking Tour. Make it a challenge and see if you can spot a few homes that have made their television debut on the hit show.
