First Saturday Downtown - Discover what downtown has to offer this Labor Day weekend! Occurring the first Saturday of every month, local businesses will host a variety of events for you to enjoy! There will be shopping, food, and plenty of fun for the entire family.

This labor Day don't miss out on the Lucky Rabbit Street Market, The pop up concert at the Sage Den, the new exhibit at the Pocket Museum, and plenty more!

Hattiesburg Zoo – Enjoy the sun, snow cones, and Splash Pad while educating yourself about more than 100 species of animals at Hattiesburg Zoo. Open Saturday and Sunday, 10AM – 4PM; closed on Monday. Admission is $6 for children (ages 2 - 12) and $8 for adults (ages 13 - 64) with discounts available to college students, seniors and active military. Be sure to see the new baby sloth Mochi and mom Mo in their new exhibit in the Asbury Discovery Center.

Pinebelt Blueways – spend your Labor Day on the water. The Pinebelt Blueways consists of several routes along the Leaf and Bouie Rivers stretching from Jones County to Perry County – more than 50 miles of beautiful, scenic river for you to explore! Bring your own gear, outfitter is unavailable at this time.

Golf – FORE! Play a round at one of Hattiesburg's golf courses. Visit Timberton, Hattiesburg Country Club, or Shadow Ridge. Loser buys lunch.

Paintball – Splatter fun on your labor day weekend at Eagle Action Sportz. Practice your paintball skills with friends or frenemies if you prefer. Open Saturday - Sunday, from 9AM to 5PM with discounts available to students and military.
