Overview
The Forrest County Multipurpose Center sits on a 160-acre complex centrally located off of Highway 49. The facility is anchored by a 120,000 square foot arena that accommodates more than 5,000 in stadium and floor seating. The main arena is able to host a variety of events including rodeos, barrel races, archery, concerts, monster truck shows, motocross races, consumer shows, cheer competitions, and more.
A 3,300 square foot conference center is located adjacent to the main arena and is available to host a wide variety of events and functions. It can seat up to 300 and includes a stage, podium, sound system, and screen. The complex also houses several outdoor buildings used to hold livestock and host outdoor events. Features include open show areas, permanent and temporary stalls, ceiling fans, electrical outlets, paging system, indoor wash racks, restrooms, and show facilities.
An on-site RV park is fully equipped with 147 full service sites, each capable of handling 30-50 AMPS of power. All of the sites have water, sewage, and electricity connections. Additionally, concrete slabs and patios are park-wide site features. The RV park is located beside the 16-acre Forrest County Lake and is available to those who attend and/or participate in Multipurpose Center events or anyone just wanting to stay for a weekend or a month. The campgrounds can accommodate horse trailers and RVs.
