Overview
Opened in 1929 as a movie palace, the Historic Saenger Theater is now one of Downtown Hattiesburg's shining jewels. The Art Deco building regularly hosts events throughout the year, including a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show and classic holiday films, magic shows, ballet performances, awards ceremonies, and pageants. The Saenger also offers field trips and private film screenings.
